There’s a weird tension floating around the air right now.
And I feel like it’s my duty to speak up about it.
Something’s definitely changed in the coaching industry.
Sales feel different…
Engagement feels less….
What used to work doesn’t work anymore.
We’ve entered a new season of buying.
Bear this in mind: The money hasn’t disappeared.
But how people spend it has changed.
It’s quieter, slower and more intentional.
People are holding their wallets with two hands, whispering “is this actually worth it?”
It’s not just a budget thing.
It’s a trust thing.
We’re living in a connection-based marketplace now.
Where people don’t want more content, or another 90 day blueprint.
They want someone who gets them in these uncertain times…
Who makes them feel seen in a sea of sameness.
They want to feel like they belong somewhere, not just buy something.
And the truth is BIG time coaches who’ve been getting by solely on hype and perfectly curated launches are starting to slip.
Because the polish doesn’t land the same anymore.
“I made $100k in 7 seconds” is starting to feel out of touch.
People are craving real.
TRUST is the new currency.
The way you write, sell, and speak cannot be surface level anymore.
It has to come from a place of actual substance.
Because buying is no longer transactional.
So if you’ve felt the shift and noticed the dip in urgency… or the uptick in ghosting…
Don’t panic.
This isn’t the end of buying.
It’s the end of buying from people they don’t fully trust.
Which means the best way to win is if you continue to build REAL connection.
Lead with REAL conviction.
And back your stories and results with your unique personality and presence that makes someone think
“I want to work with her because she sees me.”
Yes, the economy might be shaky.
But one thing will never change – people are still looking for solutions to their problems, and are willing to invest in them.
They’re just not willing to settle anymore. 🙂
