I came across a stat that totally stopped me on my tracks this week:

95% of buyers don’t convert on the first interaction with your brand.

It isn’t because your offer is not good.

Neither is it because they can’t afford it.

And it’s definitely not because you aren’t saying the right words.

But it’s because most people, especially in a cautious economy (like right now), aren’t looking to be “convinced.”

They’re looking to feel safe.

They’re looking to build trust over time.

And they’re watching how you show up between the moments when you’re selling…

That stat hit me because I’ve seen it play out in real time.

The clients who lurk for months before reaching out.

The ones who don’t engage publicly but screenshot everything.

The people who only buy after they’ve seen you handle a hard conversation, share a deeper insight, or show up when others go quiet.

Yes, urgency can be created.

But the biggest difference is that trust is earned.

And as the market shifts, this becomes even more apparent.

The coaches who will continue to grow aren’t just the ones with the flashiest content or the most polished launch slides.

They’re the ones who keep showing up with value and relevance.

And by relevance, I don’t mean dancing to the latest music trends.

I mean relevance in the way that you’re speaking to the real needs your audience is experiencing in real time.

So if sales have felt slower and engagement has dipped…

They are.
