Say what?!
She walked up to me and said, “Are you Christina?”
“Yes!” I said.
She went on to tell me she was star struck for meeting me in person *blushing* and that she got her first paying clients from my Sassy Successful Entrepreneurs group and how the group gave her exactly what she needed when she first started her business and how now she she was well on her way.
Hand on heart, I was touched.
It got me thinking that I have been MIA in my Sassy group.
I think as it grew, part of me lost the vision I once had for it. I watched so many members start and grow their businesses. Connect. Laugh together. Lift each other up. Support one another and always lead with value. It was a community of givers and my heart sang every time I went in there.
Somewhere along the way, I got busier. My team managed the group, and I got disconnected from the community.
And here I am teaching how to grow and build a Facebook group, which was a the slingshot for my own business and I stopped showing up.
I’ve been craving community and connection and my tank got filled up this week connecting with so many incredible woman.
I was truly blown away at how many people I met that knew me from my group and I decided that things are going to change.
It’s time for more connection, collaboration and support for women lifting each other up.
I’m not sure exactly what that means yet, but I wanted to come here and tell you what was on my heart.
I’d love to hear about what you think about community and connection.
What would you like to see?
What would make you do the happy dance?
Entrepreneurship can be a lonely road, and I want you to know that I am right there alongside you, every step of the way.
With love,
Christina
