Let’s talk about wealth in a way most people avoid.
Not the flashy version that lives in screenshots or highlight reels of being in Bali at 2 pm on a Tuesday.
I’m talking about something more subtle.
At its core, wealth is about your ownership.
Long before money lands in your account, a choice gets made internally.
A choice that determines whether you believe you are worthy of holding more.
It’s easy to say you want abundance.
But only a few are fully willing to stand behind the value they bring.
Here’s the disconnect I see in most entrepreneurs…
They’re on a hot streak.
Everything’s going well in their business.
Stripe notifications dinging, client testimonials are flowing it.
They know they’re good at what they do…. but somehow something still feels capped.
And so they stall.
Their sales start to fluctuate, and opportunities hover but don’t quite land.
When that happens they’ve got two choices:
1. Look outward (like most people do)
See what’s going on with the strategy… messaging… execution.
2. Or look inward.
What changed? What was missing?
Ownership.
Without ownership, wealth has nowhere to land.
In fact, I’ve lived this myself.
I knew that experience wasn’t the issue, but growth felt harder than ever.
After sitting with it honestly, the truth became obvious.
I was still trying to earn my value instead of embodying it.
Language softened when it should have stood firm.
The hesitation matters.
People can feel when you’re holding back.
Clients sense when you’re proving instead of leading.
And guess what? Money responds accordingly.
This is where many capable leaders get stuck.
They downplay wins to stay likable.
Or they often impact to stay accessible.
Or they wait for more proof before allowing themselves to stand fully in their authority.
Here’s the part that’s uncomfortable but necessary:
If you can’t fully own what you do, you won’t be able to hold more of anything… money included.
Money doesn’t avoid you because you’re unqualified.
It hesitates when it senses uncertainty in the container meant to hold it.
So here’s an honest reflection for you:
- Where are you still minimizing what you bring?
- Which parts of your work are you afraid to fully claim?
- What would change if you stopped waiting for validation and decided to lead from certainty instead?
Hold your ground and stand where wealth can finally meet you.
