How To Hold Space In Your Coaching Call

img-1
You could hear a pin drop in the silence.

Everyone was reflecting on what had just been said.

Not because some perfectly crafted slide was shared or a high-converting CTA…

But because someone in the room had spoken their truth out loud.
And instead of speeding past it, I stopped everything.
Repeated it back.
Let it land.

And watched the entire room lean in.

It’s a moment everyone’s familiar with when you’re on a group coaching call.

Someone says something so vulnerable, and it’s a moment that matters.

The moment everyone just stops what they’re doing and focus on the conversation.

Those aren’t just “nice comments” or filler between your slides.

They’re conversion catalysts.

See, one of the things I’ve learned from hosting dozens of live events and running 7-figure coaching programs is this:

Breakthroughs don’t happen when you’re talking.
They happen when your people feel seen while they’re talking.

Recently, I reflected on a 3 day event I was running and asking the team what were the moments that landed harder than others.

What came back?

The micro-moments.
The hot-seats.
The part where I reflected their own words back to them… and then gave it power.

And I realized…

These aren’t just feel-good moments.
They’re the reason your people stay.
They’re the reason your offer clicks.
They’re the reason someone says yes.

Because when someone feels seen, they feel safe.
And when they feel safe… they move.

You don’t need more slides, bells, or bonuses.

You need to practice THIS:

SEE – SHIFT – SEED:

  1. SEE: Mirror what they said using their language. Let them feel gotten.

  2. SHIFT Reframe it into a higher possibility. Let them borrow your belief.

  3. SEED: Tie it back to the work you’re leading them into. Anchor the next step.
    That’s it.

Do this consistently in your workshops, group programs, and sales calls…

And you’ll not only hold the room…

You’ll move the room.

Ok, ok. For all of you planning types, before you hunt me down and give me no mercy, let me explain. I am you. Planning is my default. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always planned out years in advance. When I was in high school, I planned out all my...

How to hit your goal – every time!

I'd love if that were true. That every time you set a goal, you hit it. But, it's not. At least not always right away. Sometimes it takes a course correction, a few fumble balls or some tweaks to nail it. Other times it comes with ease and grace. What I can tell...
