One of my favorite exercises to do at the beginning of year is to come up with one to three words that describes the direction of my business in the coming year.
This year my words were: bold, playful, courageous
That’s how I came up with my Facebook Group name, the Sassy Successful Entrepreneurs. The word “sassy” summed it all up.
Now that we’re midway through the year, I checked in with my words, making sure I was still in line with my intentions.
I realized that I’m ready to take new BOLD and COURAGEOUS actions.
Entrepreneurship is all about stretching the envelope, taking risks and boldly going where others are afraid to go.
Over time those things that once scared you start to feel comfortable. The people who seemed out of reach, become mentors and friends. Those big milestone months you were once chasing become your new norm and then you realize, it’s time to step out. Get ready to shake up what feels comfortable and GO BIGGER.
I’ve never been one to settle for mediocrity or slip into the status quo, but every now and then, I get comfortable. That’s when I know it’s time for a shift and that’s what is coming.
How about you…are you ready to go bigger? To play a bigger game and unleash your genius to the world? There are dreams to be experienced yet few people fearless enough to chase them.
