I thought I cracked the code.
It was the kind of month every new coach dreams of.
The breakthrough month!
After falling short of hitting my 10k month goal, month after month I felt defeated.
But this month, I ended up tripling that and hitting 30k!!!
(How did I do that? By creating connections and selling in my very own Facebook Group!)
Pay in full Stripe notifications were flooding my inbox.
Calls were booked back to back.
I felt unstoppable.
I remember sitting at my desk, looking at a pair of shoes online to celebrate myself, with my phone buzzing with notifications.
The thrill was intoxicating!
Then the next month came.
17 enrolment calls. 17 no’s.
I couldn’t believe it.
Each rejection felt heavier than the last.
To the point, I started to dread when I had an enrolment call on the calendar.
The confidence I’d just built crumbled with every “no thank you” and “not right now.”
By the end of the month, I saw myself as a completely different version of myself.
The same coach who had just celebrated her biggest month was now questioning everything.
Was I a fraud?
Did I just get lucky?
What if people found out?
I’d never felt so small. I began to question everything.
My offer.
My ability.
My business.
So I did some internal reflection and realised one thing.
When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.
I picked myself up slowly. One small step at a time.
I told myself if I get through this, this would one day make a great story to tell my clients in the future.
So I revisited my offer, looked at it with fresh eyes.
I reached out to the people who had said no. Not to sell to them again, but to understand why they had said no.
The answers I got were gold.
They weren’t saying no to me.
They were saying no because they didn’t fully see how my offer could fit their needs.
So I got more intentional.
The next time I got on a call, I was a totally different Christina.
Instead of just assuming they were going to be a “no” again.
I was grounded, sure, and confident.
And the yes’s started streaming in.
That month taught me something I’ll never forget.
Success is all about failing forward.
Because the truth is: Those 17 no’s were the best thing that ever happened to me in my biz.
It forced me to level up and dig deeper.
So if you’re in a season of no’s… know this:
You’re building a foundation, and it’s your chance to become even stronger.
Your breakthrough isn’t behind you.
It’s waiting in front of you to pick yourself up and claim it. 😉
P.S. My breakthrough month was created because I made connections and forged relationships with my audience. And they were all simply through my Facebook Group!
I’m going to share with you exactly how you, too, can use your Facebook group to create that same breakthrough. Want the deets? Click here to follow me on my Facebook page for an upcoming announcement
