Why “being ready” is keeping you stuck

One of the biggest mistakes I made in the beginning was waiting until I was “ready”.

it was so easy to want to stay in planning mode and learning.

(Where are my planners out there?! I see you!)

I remember building my business alongside my corporate job and I didn’t want to announce to anyone what I was doing.

I was so worried about being “found out,” but the truth was I was keeping myself safe.

Safe from the opinions of others.

Safe from living in fear of failure.

Safe from even getting started.

This showed up in several ways by wanting to have a

…compelling package created before offering it out and testing the market.

…perfecting my webinar presentations before promoting it.

…creating snazzy graphics before getting visible on social media.

The truth is: it’s easy to compare your beginning to someone else’s end.

Remember where you see others, is not where they started.

The niche, website, brand or business that you have today does not have to represent who you will be or what your business will be in six months or a year from today.

That’s the beauty of online business and entrepreneurship. You are constantly evolving!

So instead of worrying about getting it perfect the first time, consider it an evolution.

You are exactly where you are meant to be, right at this very moment.

The only way you will evolve and grow is by moving forward and taking action.

That means starting before you’re ready.

Trusting in the process and honoring where you are today.

Knowing that you don’t need to see the entire staircase.

You just need to take the next step.

Are you with me?

P.S. It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about being ready. It’s about getting started! What are you getting started this upcoming week?

How to (actually) add value into your offer

If you want to sell, you’ve got to show your people the value… not just tell them. That doesn’t mean rattling off a list of features.  It’s not about stacking more bonuses or repeating the promise louder.  And it definitely isn’t about dumping a bulleted list of...
