You Don’t See Your Growth Because You Don’t Track It

One of my favorite things I tell my new clients is to stand in front of a mirror and record themselves on a video.

Not for content, and it’s definitely not something you need to post anywhere.

But, this is something you do privately.

For your own accountability and growth.

Wanna play along?

Open your camera, and click record.

Be honest about where you are right now without trying to elevate or soften it….

“I am  ________. I am making _______. I want to make _________.”

And lean into the discomfort.

Avoid adding any fluff or describing a future version that doesn’t exist yet.

(You get to be honest about yourself!)

Once you finish recording, close the video and leave it exactly as it is.

Then spend the next 30 days actually doing the work you already know matters.

You know… the work you’ve been avoiding to do.

Show up consistently.

Actually do what you’ve been delaying.

Follow through on your standards.

After those 30 days pass, open your camera again and repeat the same process.

With the same exact level of honesty.

Share exactly where you are at.

Notice what has shifted without trying to force a dramatic difference.

(And it’s okay to not have any difference!)

Most people feel like they’re not growing simply because they never stop to measure it.

When you’re constantly in motion, it becomes hard to see what’s actually changing.

Recording these moments gives you a reference point you can come back to.

Repeat this process every single month and watch how quickly things start to evolve.
